Job Summary: We are seeking a proficient SAP CO Consultant with specialized expertise in Funds Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAP CO module and Funds Management, along with a strong understanding of financial processes and budgetary control. As a key member of our SAP team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality SAP solutions that align with business objectives and drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- CO Module Implementation: Design, configure, and implement SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
- Funds Management Implementation: Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP CO module with a focus on Funds Management functionalities, including budget planning, availability control, and commitment management. Ensure alignment with organizational budgetary requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing CO processes and budgeting procedures to identify gaps and inefficiencies. Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and design SAP CO and Funds Management solutions that address key pain points and support strategic objectives.
- Customization and Configuration: Customize SAP CO and Funds Management functionalities to meet specific business needs. Configure fund types, commitment items, budget structures, and workflow processes. Develop and implement enhancements to optimize fund utilization and tracking.
- Integration and Interfacing: Collaborate with SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and other modules to ensure seamless integration with Funds Management. Configure interfaces and data flows between SAP modules and external systems. Perform testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Training and Support: Provide end-user training and support for SAP CO and Funds Management module. Develop training materials, user documentation, and job aids to facilitate knowledge transfer and adoption of SAP CO functionalities. Address user inquiries and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage SAP CO and Funds Management system lifecycle activities, including system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Conduct impact assessments and coordinate with stakeholders to minimize disruptions to business operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of domain experience in controlling, finance, or accounting roles, with a focus on cost controlling, budgeting, funds management, or financial planning.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP CO functionalities including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP CO module, with specific expertise in Funds Management.
- Proficiency in SAP CO configuration, particularly in Funds Management functionalities such as budget planning, availability control, and commitment management.
- Knowledge of integration between SAP CO/FI/MM/SD modules is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- SAP CO certification and/or Funds Management specialization is a plus.
