Role Overview: The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial operations for a range of international clients, including medium and small companies, ensuring that all accounting practices comply with Romanian legislation. With strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, the Senior Accountant will maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries (services, production, real estate, etc.);
• Record and process primary accounting documents accurately;
• Verify the accuracy of accounting entries for both your own work and that of colleagues;
• Ensure proper account correlations and alignment between accounting data and operational records;
• Notify clients of any discrepancies, missing documents, or additional documentation needs;
• Prepare and submit tax declarations according to each client’s fiscal profile, adhering to legal deadlines;
• Compile internal reports for the Manager as requested, ensuring compliance with established timelines.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting;
• Skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, strong knowledge of financial-accounting principles, and current legislation;
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software such as SAGA, WinMentor, or other relevant programs;
• Language: Proficient in English, with the ability to manage an international client portfolio;
• Attributes: Excellent communication, analytical skills, and a high attention to detail. A strong sense of responsibility and client-focused approach is essential.
