Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly and annual financial closures.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Oversee fixed asset bookings and depreciation calculations.
• Execute general ledger bookings.
• Monitor, analyze, and handle reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Corporate Tax, and Withholding Tax regulations.
• Prepare statutory reports and statistical data.
• Report to the Accounting Manager and collaborate effectively with international colleagues.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Economics (a Master’s degree is a plus).
• 4+ years of experience in accounting.
• A purpose-driven mindset, with integrity and a broader perspective on responsibilities.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication skills, including fluency in Romanian and English at B2-C1 level.
• Additional skills that are an advantage:
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of tax preparation and filing (e.g., D100, 101, 300, 390, 394).
• Financial reporting expertise.
• SAF-T preparation.
• Experience with Cadency and a Certified Accountant qualification.
