Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Accountant with experience in SAGA to join a rapidly growing engineering and automation company. The Senior Accountant will be the second-in-command to the Chief Accountant and will be responsible for handling financial balances, financial/ANAF declarations, and more. While the Senior Accountant won’t be signing documents, they must have a strong understanding of these topics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record invoices, issue invoices, manage fixed assets, oversee payments and collections.
• Assist with account reconciliations, periodic reporting, and inventory audits.
• Prepare and file tax forms (e.g., D100, D101, D300, D394, D390, SAF-T).
• Support in preparing periodic and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.
• Provide necessary documents for statutory audits or control activities.
• Support the update of accounting policies and identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax legislation.
• Proficiency in SAGA or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• English language skills are a plus.

Salary: 7,000 - 8,000 RON NET per month.
