Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of key legal documents, including transaction agreements, term sheets, shareholder agreements, and investment documents.
• Supervise and coordinate due diligence processes, identify key risks, and provide actionable advice to clients.
• Advise clients on structuring and executing M&A, PE, and VC transactions in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on legal and commercial matters.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
• Monitor developments in corporate law, SEBI regulations, and FDI policies, and proactively advise clients on potential implications.
• Mentor and guide junior associates, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: LL.B. or equivalent qualification from a reputed law school.
• Experience:
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in GC, M&A, and PE/VC transactions at a leading law firm.
  • Note: Candidates with in-house experience will not be considered.
• Core Skills:
  • Strong expertise in corporate laws, SEBI regulations, FDI policies, and transaction structuring.
  • Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle complex agreements.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high-stakes transactions independently.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
