Job Description
Your Tasks:
- Design, build and maintain data storage and processing infrastructure on our state-of-the-art cloud-based data platform
- Collect, clean, and pre-process data to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Build and maintain data pipelines using modern tools like Airflow, Airbyte, or dbt
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and governance to meet regulatory and company standards
- Continuously identify and implement process improvement opportunities to optimize data flow and performance
- Act as a liaison between the data team and other internal teams to understand data needs and requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability
Your Profile:
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Experience with data warehousing, data processing, and pipeline building using modern tools like Airflow, Airbyte, or dbt
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
- Proven experience with data governance, quality, and compliance practices
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You are based in either Berlin, Hamburg or Remote in Germany.
