Position Overview:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and implementing DevOps practices to streamline the development and deployment processes. This position combines technical expertise with strategic leadership, as you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and drive infrastructure as code. You’ll also support a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities within the team:

• Architect and enhance CI/CD pipelines for efficient and secure delivery of applications on the cloud, ensuring seamless deployments and high-quality releases.
• Champion and implement IaC practices across the organization, leveraging tools like Terraform to scale our cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee automation and configuration management to streamline deployments, ensuring consistency and reducing manual work.
• Work closely with product, development, and QA teams to align DevOps practices with business goals, enhancing our delivery processes.
• Implement DevOps processes with a focus on security, compliance, and data privacy to meet industry standards and protect our infrastructure.
• Provide guidance to DevOps team members, fostering professional growth and promoting best practices in automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure management.

Facing the challenges of this role requires:

• 7+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related field, with a background in leading teams or projects.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Proven track record in automation, configuration management, and monitoring for high-availability environments.
• Ability to tackle complex challenges, implement creative solutions, and optimize processes for resilience and efficiency.
• Experience mentoring and guiding team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Passionate about DevOps principles, with the ability to promote best practices and continuous improvement.

Could bring additional value:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Agile Project Management: Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
