For our client - a product company, providing smart energy technology solutions with a diverse portfolio of solar, battery and energy ecosystems products, we are searching for a loyal, passionate and communicative person for the role of Senior Java Developer to join their exceptional and dynamic team!

In this role, you will be part of a project creating an enterprise-grade solution that will allow developers to have unique service capabilities for infrastructure management, automated service discovery with service catalogue visualisation and quality metrics for complete visibility into application and team performance.

Main responsibilities:

• Designing and developing an in-house infrastructure management platform
• Connecting and managing the cloud infrastructure (databases, storage, compute resources, secrets management, and others)
• Be part of an internal dev portal based on Port, including service catalog, discovery, enrollment, lifecycle and common integrations
• Making integrations with SonarQube, PagerDuty, Grafana, Gitlab, K8S, etc.
• Design and implement testable, efficient code on Kotlin

Desired experience, skills and qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Java Developer
• Good knowledge of the Spring Boot framework
• Good knowledge of K8S, Docker or relevant
• Extensive experience with at least one SQL and NoSQL database (Couchbase/Cassandra/MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL/Oracle)
• Deep understanding of OOP principles, data structures, algorithms
• Extensive experience in automating manual processes
• A team player with excellent communication and personal skills
• Excellent English level (both oral and written) – B2 as a minimum
• University (BS/MS) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related specialty

Advantages:

• Previous experience with Kotlin
• Knowledge of additional programming languages like Python or Go
• Previous experience with Kafka/Kafka Connect/Kafka Streams
• Experience writing libraries and development infrastructure
• Experience writing development infrastructures
• Knowledge in Security, Secret Management
• Previous experience in automation using GitLab APIs and CI/CD
• Previous DevOps experience
