Hiring for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for one of the world’s leading enterprise IT solutions and digital transformation services provider.

Role details:
- Title / Designation: Senior Oracle Database Administrator
- Reporting Manager: SME
- Location: Navi Mumbai
- Work Mode: Work-from-Office
Role & responsibilities:
- Oracle administration across operating systems, including RHEL, OEL, and Windows.
- Setup, configuration, and management of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Data Broker, and ASM/GRID.
- Implementation of advanced Oracle security measures, including data encryption, compression, and in-memory database.
- Database performance tuning and monitoring, patching, and upgrading in production and non-production environments.
- Integration with centralized monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, DAM, SOC) and secure configuration compliance.
- Resolution of database-related issues, monitoring thresholds, and timely closure of audit points.
- Execution of MIS reporting and any database activities assigned as per structure and timelines.
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in OCA/OCP, with 2 years in a DBA role.
- Proficiency with tools like SQL Loader, Discoverer 19c, PL/SQL, OEM, and SOA.
- Expertise in log monitoring, centralized tool monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Willing to work on rotational shifts & alternate support on Saturdays.
- BE/B-Tech/M-Tech in Computer Science/IT, MCA, or equivalent.
- Certifications in Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) is preferred.
