Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features and functionalities.

• Develop responsive web applications in frontend technologies including vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Ajax other JS libraries/plugins.

• Proficiency in backend development using PHP frameworks like Laravel and Symphony.

• Experience working on legacy PHP & frontend systems.

• Experience with template engines: v6 of Oxid with Smarty and v7 with Twig is preferred but not limited to.

• Experience with microservices/micro-frontend architecture and preferably carried out migrations frommonolith to micro-frontend/microservices.

• Optimize performance and ensure scalability of the e-commerce platform.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure seamless operation of our platform.

• Previously worked with gitlab, git, Jenkins, github actions & familiar with CI/CD pipeline optimisation & deployment workflows.

• You are a team player with profound sense of responsibility, ownership & love to mentor other engineers

• You follow coding principles like YAGNI, KISS, SOLID, DRY during development & code reviews while advocating for high coding standards.
