Hiring for a Senior SME – Claims Platform Implementation, for an InsurTech platform provider
Company description:
Our client is an Indian headquartered InsurTech platform company focused on creating innovative software products to address the challenges of the global Insurance Industry. Leveraging their domain expertise, regulatory knowledge and technology experience, they architect innovative products and disrupt the Insurance value chain from Customer Acquisition to Engagement. Their products serve customers across the APAC region including India, Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia. They have raised more than 3 million USD through two rounds of VC funding and are looking to grow their number of offerings in health insurance, claims and underwriting.

- Title / Designation: Senior SME – Claims Platform Implementation
- Reporting Manager: Chief Product Officer
- Location: Indonesia / Singapore
- Work Mode: Remote
Role & responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end platform implementation across Provider Management, Claims (from Intake to Settlement), and Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) detection, ensuring scalability across markets.
- Lead requirement workshops with business and IT stakeholders, translating domain needs into clear platform capabilities and articulated use cases.
- Act as the single point of contact for client interactions, including requirement validation, clarifications, and change requests.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure platform features align with customer needs and delivery timelines.
- Identify solution gaps and recommend platform enhancements based on industry benchmarks and competitive analysis.
Candidate requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in the health or life insurance domain, with at least 5 years focused on platform implementation.
- Strong understanding of Provider Lifecycle Management, Contracting and Tariffs, Claims processing, and FWA detection techniques.
- Proven experience leading discovery and design workshops, particularly in APAC markets.
- Familiarity with policy administration systems, integration platforms, and rules-based engines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional, multi-country environments.
- Ability to work in fast-paced programs with shifting priorities.
