Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer for the development of innovative air defence systems. In this responsible role, you will lead a development team and be significantly involved in the system design and functional design of complex defence systems.

Leading a development team and being responsible for the system design of air defence systems.

Creating functional designs and defining the system architecture.

Coordinating with international subcontractors to define system functions and interfaces, as well as higher-level management systems.

Analysing customer requirements and translating them into technical specifications for weapon systems.

Preparing effort and cost estimates for technical tasks.

Supporting the entire development process, from system definition to verification, while serving as a central point of contact between different departments.
Requirements
-
At least 5 years of professional experience in military systems system design.

Sound knowledge in areas such as lifecycle costs, safety, or IT security is a plus.

Enthusiasm for complex, large-scale technical systems and the ability to think in broader contexts. Experience with systems engineering methods for complex systems.

A willingness to tackle new challenges and develop high-performance products.

Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to work in an international environment.
