Our Client is a global leader in IT Services/IT Consulting.
For their exponentially growing operations, they are looking for a ‘Site Engineer (Cooling)’ to be based in their offices in Heraklion/Crete.
The role is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical equipment within the infrastructure is operating at peak efficiency. This involves conducting both planned preventative maintenance of equipment, corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues. The Site Engineer serves as an operator as well as a first-line resource, reporting to the site’s Manager and interacting with third-party vendors. He/She maintains training compliance as related to their role of operating, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Working semi-autonomously in the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Execution of project scopes of basic complexity.
- Providing timely escalation for all facilities-related issues within the center.
- First-line troubleshooting and reporting of facility and high-criticality events within a pre-determined service level agreement (SLA).
- Assisting junior and peer Site Engineers.
- Oversight of third-party vendors to ensure that all work performed is under established safety protocols, best practices, and local legislation.
- Utilization of administrative tools for change management, ticketing, and asset management.
- Flexibility for changes to work schedule depending on specific site needs (emergencies).
Your Profile:
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience, at least 2 years working for critical infrastructure (Hospitals, Food Industry, Telecommunication facilities, etc).
- Hands-on experience.
- Cooling technician license. A bachelor's diploma (mechanical engineer) is considered an advantage.
- F-Gas certification is mandatory.
- Strong Greek and English verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driving license.
