Roles & Responsibilities:

• Write high quality, maintainable and clean code.
• Take ownership of the correctness of your work both in terms of functional and usability.
• Apply the best practices of software development when it comes to SCM, managing issues and most importantly, documenting your work.
• Keep up to date with industry best practices and new developments, and advocate for their adoption whenever applicable.
• Work with the support team to triage and resolve issues with/without the assistance of other team members.
• Identify performance issues by effectively using DevTools.
• Be able to guide junior engineers on best practices and provide clear guidance and feedback during technical design discussions and code reviews.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 3 years of experience in building web applications with the main focus on React.
• Proficient in Javascript and React, including in-depth understanding of the language, framework and performance aspects.
• Excellent knowledge of modern CSS and familiarity with pre-processing tools like LESS and SASS.  Experience integrating complex APIs.
• Familiarity with best practices on the web in terms of technology and UI/UX
