Solution Architect – Digital Transformation, Cloud, and Data Analytics

About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Solution Architect with expertise in Digital Transformation (Platform Modernisation & Rationalisation), Cloud Architecture (primarily AWS & Azure), Data Analytics, and Cloud Cost Optimisation.
  
As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and advising on scalable technical solutions for various industries. You will collaborate closely with the global senior stakeholders, customers, and internal stakeholders to deliver strategic digital transformation initiatives.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UK & European sales leaders to win new business and support pre-sales activities, contributing to revenue growth.
• Understand functional and non-functional business requirements and translate them into effective solution designs.
• Design end-to-end architectures that ensure scalability, security, and performance, aligning with business objectives.
• Provide technical thought leadership to customers and development teams, ensuring best practices and standards.
• Lead Proof-of-Concept efforts, validate solution designs, and support the technical teams through mentoring and guidance.
• Develop architecture documentation, including system diagrams and specifications for ongoing project support.
• Lead discussions on cloud-based solutions, including cost optimisation strategies for AWS/Azure platforms.

You Bring:

• Extensive experience in a solution architect role, with a proven background in technology architecture.
• Demonstrable expertise in digital transformation, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data analytics, and cost optimization strategies.
• Experience designing solutions with the .NET tech stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures, microservices, and containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, ML solutions, and Gen AI R&D experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js, and DevOps tools/practices.
