The company’s connected operations platform has been deployed in multiple airports in globally to improve for aircraft maintenance and baggage handling process efficiencies,  and continues to grow its market presence internationally. The company’s European HQ is based in the Netherlands.

The candidate  

You are a passionate individual with strong expertise in digital products & solutions in customer facing roles with a focus on solving client problems. You will have an experience working with airports & airlines as a solution provider either externally or internally.

The  Role

As the Solution Designer for the European region you will be responsible for idetifying the customers’ painpoints and challenges, and then designing the client solution taking into consideration our clients existing product features and benefits, while working with the company’s engineering team to supply the optimal solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing the clients’ solution based on existing product features & requirements 
• Establish a through understanding of the client’s platform & features
• Contribute to productisation of features with clear demarcation of scalable/non scalable features
• Continuous engagement with customers decision makers, users & influencers to collaborate for problem solutions, improvements & ROI driven benefits realisation
• Articulate solutions and benefits confidently to clients both verbally and written in English
• Able to translate client needs and challenges to internal product teams for development and roadmap
• Contribution to marketing and product literature
• Work closely with sales, pre-sales and marketing functions
• Able to travel for client meetings and aviation events across Europe with possible trips to the India Office 

Position requirements

• Well versed with airport & airline day of operations, challenges & available systems/solutions in market with 8+ years of experience
• Deep expertise of Aircraft turnaround process is desirable
• Works in professional networks such as a SME. Contacts within airlines, airports and/or ground handlers is high desirable 
• Understanding of technology, data, systems integration & processes to design end-to-end solution
• Confident in presenting to clients
• Knowledge of AI and IoT is a bonus
• Experience as a solution design, SME, pre-sales or consultant
• Universtity degree in computer science or software development
• Must have a valid resident and work status in Europe. No visa sponsorship support will be provided.
• Willinng to travel 30%+ of time
