Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Plainfield, Illinois

Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality direct speech-language therapy services to a wide variety of students in therapy room settings
- Conduct standard and non-standardized assessments, analyze results and write reports to determine strengths and concerns in the areas of motor speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, literacy, and dysphagia
- Develop treatment plans that are strength based as well as child and family centered
- Ensure that IEP, ETR and progress monitoring procedures adhere to the company, state and federal guideline
- Collect ongoing daily data and adapt treatment accordingly based on trends in student performance
- Attend IEP and MFE meetings and provide necessary documentation for team to review in a timely manner
- Collaborate with staff and all other members of a student’s educational team
- Guide staff, primary care providers and all other educational team members in the implementation of facilitating classroom strategies to ensure skill generalization and in how to identify students who may require a referral for a speech and language evaluation
- Develop, follow and communicate to building leaders and department supervisors, a daily schedule
Qualifications:
- Must (Experience, Licenses/Certifications, Endorsements, Skills):
- Must have their CCC’s (No CFs)
- Illinois SLP License
- Must be a self-starter and someone who takes initiative
- Able to meet 30 billable hours per week requirement
- Growth oriented mindset
- Comfortable working with diverse workforce
- Must be forward thinking – the company just rolled out their speech services
Plus:
- Someone who is credentialed with other insurance companies
- ABA – Behavior background (dual certifications)
- Pediatric Experience (Special Needs – Autism)
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
- Master’s in Speech Language Pathology
- Illinois SLP License
