Supply Chain Management Manager
Location- Chakan, Pune
Experinece- 8-10 Years
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, inventory control, logistics, and supply to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in supply chain management, strong analytical skills, and leadership abilities.Knowledge of TOC methods is a must have.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.2. Procurement Management:
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and distributors.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage risks.
- Ensure accurate documentation.3. Production Planning:
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels.
- Collaborate with projects, production, and engineering teams to ensure efficient workflow.4. Inventory Control:
- Implement strategies to minimize holding costs and prevent stockouts.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future requirements.5. Logistics and Distribution:
- Oversee logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely product delivery.
- Optimize transportation and warehousing processes.6. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.7. Performance Monitoring:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management.8. Compliance and Sustainability:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Promote sustainable practices within the supply chain.Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, production planning, inventory control, and logistics.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.Preferred Skills
- Experience in the conveyor manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Insight into economic conditions and market dynamics.
- Knowledge of TOC methods.
