Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Perimeter: 

• Computational Aided Engineering (“CAE”) applications and infrastructures intended for digital simulation during product design & validation process. 
• The CAE technical expert is in charge within Group IT / Design & Validation Solution department of CAE expertise, managing CAE standards, projects and support for Organisation CAE users and other IT Teams (infrastructure, local IT …).

Her/His main missions are to:

• Ensure support and enhancement of job submission tool (fix bug, manage new version of applications, manage new HPC solution, answer end user needs)
• Ensure support and enhancement of job scheduler of HPC cluster
• Ensure support and enhancement of connexion with remote servers (like AZURE Cycle Cloud)
• Test and validate new OS image to ensure service continuity
• Define new hardware standard in collaboration with other teams
• Ensure level 3 support on Operating System, Job submission, Infiniband connection and applications deliveries
• Deliver application installation packages based on company IT standards
• Manage documentation and KPIs for CAE domain
• Propose evolutions of CAE architecture and solutions in regards of technology evolutions (ex: GPU, AI, Cloud ….)

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications:

Education level:  Bachelor / Master’s degree in IT Engineering or equivalent

Experience: 

• 8+ years experimented professional in CAE domain or Linux administration
• Skills and competencies:
• Technical skills:  Linux Redhat Operating System, Shell script, HPC architecture, Infiniband, Azure Cycle Cloud
• Additional skills: IBM LSF Job scheduler, Windows operating system, Development methodology
• English fluent
• Autonomy
• Curiosity and self-training capacity
• Project Management
