Role details:

• Title / Designation: Technical Architect (Java)
• Reporting Manager: Senior Director
• Location: Chennai
• Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days office; 2 days work-from-home)

Role & responsibilities:

• Collaborative Planning: Participate in meetings with technology managers and the design team to discuss company objectives and system requirements.
• Architecture Evaluation: Examine and assess the current architecture systems, identifying areas for improvement or expansion.
• System Design: Design scalable, high-performance architecture systems tailored for Java-based applications.
• Infrastructure Assessment: Determine the necessary hardware and software infrastructure to meet architectural goals.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve design flaws and system bottlenecks.
• Validation & Testing: Perform validation and flexibility tests to ensure the architecture supports scalability and flexibility.
• Integration Assistance: Collaborate with the software design team to assist in application integration within the system.
• Performance Testing: Conduct regular system performance and security vulnerability tests to ensure robustness.
• Security: Ensure that security vulnerability assessments are conducted for all designs.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 13 years of total work experience, with a strong background as a Java Architect, Specialist, or Analyst.
• Extensive experience in Java technologies, with expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in software architecture design and documentation, with excellent skills in requirement analysis and solution design.
• Strong experience in software design, development, and web programming.
• Advanced knowledge of system performance testing, troubleshooting, and security vulnerability assessments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on resolving complex software and system issues.
• Outstanding customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
