Role & responsibilities:

• Develop and code technology solutions for clients using a variety of technologies
• Participate and feed into technical discussions, requirements gathering and white boarding.
• Conduct implementation pilots and help customer envision final solution.
• Deal effectively and professionally with requests that have the potential to disrupt schedule whilst keeping all parties informed and appraised of impact.
• Periodically, with the wider services team, review documentation and tools to keep them up to date with product evolution and continuously improve processes.
• Produce and manage technical client-facing documentation.

Candidate requirements:

• 3+ yrs. of experience delivering commercial projects via service organizations. , with database experience into SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 20% possible).
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Programming or scripting experience preferably in Java or Groovy.
• Extensive troubleshooting experience (e.g. application server logfiles, console logs, debugging)
• Experience of working on data migration and data loading activities.
• Demonstrate the ability to prepare / maintain a variety of project documents to a high standard
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including writing, editing, and presentation.

Good to have:

• Experience of developing prints, reports, and dashboards
• Experience of deployments both on prem and cloud
• Experience of working in agile implementation models 
• Experience of VM Management, setting up, resetting, debugging 
• Experience working with REST and SOAP webservices
• Experience of working with Middleware and on System Integration Projects 
• Experience of working with DevOps tools, e.g., Jenkins, Azure Pipelines
• Familiarity with any app server such as Wildfly or WebLogic. 
• Experience of working with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Azure Devops etc) 
• Experience of working with source control systems (GIT, SVN etc.)
