Job Description: Technical Manager
Location: Romania
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to spearhead the construction and maintenance endeavors of a drugstore chain in Romania. As the Technical Manager, you will be entrusted with assembling and leading a proficient technical team responsible for supervising projects from conception to completion. Your primary focus will be on executing investment plans, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, and upholding company standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development: Formulate and execute the technical strategy for investment plans within the designated region.

Market Analysis: Evaluate the local market to identify potential collaborators, including designers, suppliers, and contractors for future partnerships.

Collaboration: Liaise with design offices throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring alignment with project objectives and standards.

Project Management: Oversee all facets of investment projects, including budget preparation, compliance verification, work coordination, and deadline management.

Utilities Management: Procure and manage utility contracts to ensure seamless operations.

Cost Optimization: Conduct tender procedures for construction, assembly works, and equipment procurement to optimize investment expenditures.

Financial Oversight: Maintain ongoing cost control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with budgetary parameters.

Standard Maintenance: Uphold construction standards for all facilities, encompassing both exterior and interior specifications.

Handover Procedures: Coordinate the seamless transition of completed stores to the operational department.

Budget Adherence: Ensure timely settlement of investment processes, aligning outcomes with budget projections.

Team Coordination: Supervise and support subordinate Coordinators, ensuring effective teamwork and project delivery.

Technical Support: Provide technical assistance for existing stores and oversee warranty service provisions.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments throughout the store opening process to ensure operational readiness.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, with a preference for construction-related disciplines.

Profound understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and industry standards pertinent to construction in Romania.

Demonstrated leadership experience (minimum 3 years) with exceptional communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.

Proficiency in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and achieve results within specified timelines and budgets.

Prior experience in investment projects for retail chains, particularly within shopping center environments.

Ability to interpret architectural, sanitary, HVAC, electrical, and fire protection documentation.

Fluency in English; additional proficiency in languages such as Hungarian or Polish is advantageous.

Strong command of MS Office and AutoCAD software.

Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Possession of a Category B driving license and driving experience.
