Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales of mechanical and electrical industrial automation products associated components. Leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen, you will identify opportunities, develop strategic sales plans, and build strong relationships with clients to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Pune region, focusing on industries where mechanical and electrical industrial automation products are essential.
2. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through effective communication, product demonstrations, and technical consultations. Understand clients' needs and provide solutions that address their specific requirements.
3. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Collaborate with the sales team to forecast sales, set performance goals, and devise action plans to drive business growth.
4. Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical industrial automation products, including gearboxes, geared motors, rotary indexers, and related components. Articulate the technical features, advantages, and benefits of our products to customers effectively.
5. Solution Selling: Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate solutions that integrate mechanical and electrical automation products to optimize performance and efficiency.
6. Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive proposals, quotations, and presentations for customers, addressing their specific needs and technical requirements. Coordinate with the technical team to ensure proposed solutions align with customer expectations.
7. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to mechanical and electrical industrial automation products. Provide insights and feedback to the management team to enhance our product offerings and market positioning.
8. Sales Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers, including technical assistance, product training, and troubleshooting, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. 3-6 years of experience in technical sales, with a focus on selling mechanical and electrical industrial automation products such as gearboxes, geared motors, rotary indexers, etc.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the industrial automation sector.
4. Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical automation products, their applications, and industry standards.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
7. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
