The Manager of Test Activities is responsible for overseeing the operational resources dedicated to test production. This role ensures effective workload management, prioritization, and resource utilization while contributing to the development of team competencies and personal growth.
The Manager operates across electrical and powertrain test activities, providing support to test activity leaders and ensuring the highest standards of quality, organization, and management in testing operations.
Responsibilities

Plan and organize tests within the electrical and powertrain activity scopes.

Collaborate with test activity leaders to optimize resource utilization and scheduling.

Bring expertise to enhance test activities through continuous improvement initiatives.

Drive the development of testing methodologies and practices.

Ensure the Quality, Cost, and Timeliness (QCD) of tests.

Manage test performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.

Provide technical assistance and training to operational teams, including engineers, technicians, apprentices, and interns.

Develop team versatility and ensure the growth of their skills.

Oversee the quality assurance of test benches and equipment, including metrological follow-up, validation, commissioning, and maintenance.

Interface with suppliers and maintenance teams to ensure equipment readiness.

Analyze customer feedback, address complaints, and implement corrective actions.

Serve as the main point of contact for technical issues during test execution.

Implement and enforce test procedures and safety rules.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company safety commitments.
Requirements

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field

Proficiency in managing test benches for electrical and powertrain activities.

Knowledge of metrology, LIMS, and technical English.

Familiarity with management and team animation tools.

Ability to effectively organize work and manage team dynamics.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to new methods and procedures.

In-depth understanding of quality systems and safety regulations.
