Our Client is a central Europe well established group that develops and integrates the country veterinary industry in a partnership-based, flexible business model. Our Client vision is that the cooperation with doctors and owners of leading animal health institutions, there is a new quality of services offered and raised standards of work in the veterinary sector.
The group has solid financing and there is a start up in progress in Romania now.
????️ Location: Centre of Bucharest office - but we can accept great candidates from every other place in Romania as this person will need to possess high mobility
⏳ Work model: if duties do not require to be in the office/clinic, hybrid (wfh) mode is also accepted.

- Scope of the role:
This role will help in setting up and expanding a network of veterinarian clinics in Romania, aiming to hire min 200 people within next 1-2 years; 2 are already acquired
This business model is already proven in other East-Central EU countries.

- Attributes:
- An individual who is conflict-free, ambitious, and understanding.
- Highly self-motivated and resilient to stress able to corelate various departments and functions, with proven results ideally in VET domain
- Structured person with analytical abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines.
- Full JD:
Demands :
- Experience of at least 5 years in managerial positions, preferably in an international environment, in the veterinary or related sector (e.g. pharmacy, laboratories, petfood, etc.)
- Education in fields related to veterinary medicine and management, economics, business, finance
- Resistance to stress
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Task prioritization skills
- Innovativeness
- Very good knowledge of English
- Proactive, collaborative
- Ease in establishing relationships.
Responsibilities :
- Ongoing support for clinics managers with regards to:
- Clinics’ day-to-day aspects ie. pricing changes, working hours, policies and other, non-medical decisions
- Being a partner for Clincs’ managers in scope of Clincs’ development including but not limited to capital expenditures, expansion, new services etc.
- Trainings, in a role of coordination/supervision of training budget utilization
- PR/Marketing, in a role of consultant/advisor as those activities will be served by external contracted agencies
- Support in definition of products and services
- Products to be used in clinics, recommendations
- Laboratories to be used
- External services
- Negotiation with distributors of product discounts and terms of cooperation.
- Support in definition of price and margin policies (clients, external services, and employee discounts).
- Client’s policies (credits, discounts) and satisfaction.
- Helping and monitoring with the action plans for each clinic detailing the concrete measures in the different areas (operational, marketing, restructuring etc.).
- Provide key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Managers of the clinics to continuously measure their financial and operational performance.
- Develop and implement policies across the platform to deliver maximum value, leverage, and standardization.
- Reporting Goals:
- Operational drive and support for the business.
- Promote and develop initiatives to improve the performance of clinics and hospitals.
- Member of steering committees for key projects across the platform.
- Set up and monitor KPI's to support the Management Board in the development of the platform.
- Establish a solid relationship with the rest of the departments: Clinical Directors, Finance, Marketing, M&A. Focus on the business.

- C&B draft package:
- Salary and Benefits: range 48k – 60k Eur gross p.a. company car, KPI bonus

- Interview with Antal (telephone/Ms Teams/email)
- 1st interview: HRM and the Ops Group Head
- 2nd interview: Ops Group Head (if it will not be present in the 1st one) + Group CEO
