About Us

Welcome to the Antal Pakistan office in Lahore – the cultural and food capital of Pakistan! 

We have been delivering executive search & recruitment, corporate training and executive coaching services in Pakistan since 2017. We have worked with local and international publicly listed and privately held companies, as well as family conglomerates, across various industry sectors. Roles we have recruited for in the past include Country Managers, Sales Directors, Marketing Directors, General Managers, Head of Retail, Head of Corporate, Head of Operations, Head of Production, Head of Supply Chain, CFOs / Finance Directors, CHROs / HR Directors and Program / Project Managers, Application Support Specialists, and Production Support Specialists and sectors we have operated in include FMCG, retail, manufacturing, engineering, education and technology.

    Nausherwan is an international management consultant, trainer and headhunter. He specialises in strategic planning, business process re-engineering, applied innovation, problem solving and helping organizations successfully drive change through developing and recruiting A-player talent. Having lived and worked in the UK and Pakistan since 1999, he has partnered with CEOs/Managing Directors, functional heads and their teams across the globe and accomplished a track record of leading major initiatives focused on improvements in working capital, margin, productivity and leadership development. His pragmatic, methodical and diligent approach has earned him the trust and respect of many business leaders and the teams they lead. 

    Nausherwan is currently working as an Advisor/Consultant on retained basis with a number of organizations for helping them make improvements and recruiting critical talent. He has worked as a headhunter having recruited for organisations globally and in Pakistan including at KPMG, Fidelity Information Services, Nutreco, IDP Pakistan, EBM, Interwood, Treet Corp and several other local and family owned business  

    Nausherwan has been invited as a guest speaker on several forums and has facilitated workshops on Leadership and Applied Innovation at Procter & Gamble, USA and Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a global platform of CEOs. He is a certified Master Level Simplexity Thinking Advisor in applied innovation and creative problem solving and has attended the Advanced Instructor/Facilitator program at Langevin Learning Services, world’s largest train-the-trainer company based in the US. 

    Nausherwan read his Electronics Engineering from University of Hull with high first class honours and completed his MBA from Ashridge Business School in the UK that specialises in Strategy, Leadership and Change. He has thrice served as elected member of the Ashridge Business School Alumni Board in an advisory capacity to help promote, grow and strengthen their alumni communities.

    Akram partnered with Antal International in 2015 after an illustrious career spanning 30 years in the petrochemicals and chemicals industry in Pakistan, where he worked in senior technical and corporate roles in major multinationals including ICI, Exxon Chemicals and BP (formerly Union Texas Inc) in Pakistan. He was assigned as the “Chairman Succession Planning Group” for ICI Pakistan, a role he passionately enjoyed reporting progress to ICI Chairman and the Board. He reviewed the company human resource needs at the medium to long term level and developed the training and development plans for “high potential” staff which resulted in enhanced retention rates and a motivated staff. He has partnered with a number of international and local clients to successfully fill their critical positions based in Pakistan.

    Akram started his professional career from National Oil Refinery in Pakistan where he was trained as a Refinery Engineer. Following that, he had a successful stint at BP Pakistan working as Field Manager for their oil and gas operations before being head hunted thrice to work for ICI Pakistan in different roles. There he set up ICI’s Polyester Fibre and Soda Ash projects in record times and cost. Akram had an accelerated career progression within ICI where he was finally promoted as the General Manager, Corporate Technical reporting directly into the Chairman and the Executive Board of ICI Pakistan. His responsibilities included overview of the manufacturing operations with an asset base of over $700 million, expansion of the existing assets by way of technology upgrade and addition of new assets. The facilities included Purified Terephthalic Acid, Polyester Fibre, Soda Ash, Speciality Chemicals and Paints. Mr Malik was directly responsible to the CEO and the Board for the Corporate Supply Chain management, Corporate training and Corporate SH&E.

    He is a Mechanical Engineer by degree from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore and has attended executive development programmes at INSEAD.
